Norbert W. Young Jr., FAIA, is president of McGraw-Hill Construction. A registered architect, his professional affiliations include membership in the Urban Land Institute, the Construction Specification Institute and the International Alliance for Interoperability, where he serves as chairman of the IAI-NA Board of Directors. He serves as a trustee of the National Building Museum, a chairman of the board of regents of the American Architectural Foundation and an overseer for the Graduate School of Fine Arts, University of Pennsylvania. He is a committee member of the Construction Users
Roundtable and sits on the board of the Salvadori Center for Education and the Built Environment. He is a fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and, in 2005, he received the Edward C. Kemper Award from the AIA for outstanding service to the profession of architecture.

Harvey M. Bernstein, F.ASCE
Vice President, Industry Analytics and Alliances, McGraw-Hill Construction

Harvey M. Bernstein, F.ASCE, oversees McGraw-Hill Constructions' Research and Analytics division. He has served as a member of Secretary of State Colin Powell's Advisory Committee on Leadership and Management. Currently, he is a member of the Princeton University Civil and Environmental Engineering Advisory Council, the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Policy Advisory Board and a visiting Professor with the University of Reading's School of Construction Management and Engineering in London, England, where he serves on their Innovative Construction Research Center Advisory Board. He has written numerous papers and reports covering innovation, productivity, energy conservation and green building and co-authored the book Solving the Innovation Puzzle: Challenges Facing the Design and Construction Industry.
